I want to write about the image people have about the lifestyle in Brazil. I think a lot of people have an inaccurate image of our lifestyle. They think that we party all the time, that we dance all night and never sleep. People see pictures and videos of Carnaval, and they think it's that way all the time. But it's not. Most days, I get up early and go to work, and I go to bed early, too. I like to see my friends and stay out later on the weekends, but we really don't stay out that late, and I don't go dancing very often (maybe once a month). So, you see, we Brazilians are social, but we're not really so wild and crazy.

I'm from Belgium. I think the image people have about us is that we're boring. Well, I disagree! Just because there aren't a lot of Belgian celebrities, like movie stars or pop stars or athletes, doesn't mean that we are boring. Most of my friends have traveled to interesting places -- Bangladesh, Turkey, Ghana... places all over the world. And one of my friends loves hang-gliding and rock climbing. I think that's pretty adventurous!
